Ideas that matter

Elena is an original member of Cohn & Wolfe Milan and a major reason why the office has grown in size and reputation. During her career she has worked on a wide range of clients and activities from the launch of new brands to rebranding of old ones; from promoting nutritional contents to street marketing for food products; from corporate matters to event conception. She has counseled both Italian brands and companies and global organization including traditional family-owned businesses (Galbusera, Sammontana), associations (VISA Europe, UPA), huge corporations (Unilever), and complex organizations (Olympic Games Organizing Committee).

Bold brand work

At Cohn & Wolfe, Elena launched the first functional food brand in Italy (Becel Pro.activ), managing all opinion leader relations and consumer activation. She created from scratch the big two-day UPA Communication Summit; fought against the use of cash with Visa Europe; worked with Sammontana on the first Firenze Gelato Festival; and promoted Breast Health Day all around the world.

Career highlight

One of the most exciting and incredible time in her career was working for the Organizing Committee of the XX Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy as well as Olympic sponsors VISA and McDonald’s (a Cohn & Wolfe Milan client since the office opened in 1995). Working for the Olympic Games takes you from corporate branding to media relations to crisis management—and everything in between.
