No ordinary agency
Let me tell you a story. Sometime in the not-too-distant past, we set out to tackle what seemed an impossible task: differentiate our “large, global PR agency” from dozens of other PR, marketing and digital agencies all claiming to be different. “We have passionate people,” they cried. “We use cutting-edge digital tools,” they boasted. “We offer breakthrough creative concepts,” they bellowed. But so do we, we reasoned.
What to do? Prove it. Prove that our agency is one that clients want to hire, that staff are inspired by, that other employees kill to work at … all because Cohn & Wolfe buzzes and hums with raw energy. It oozes imagination and percolates with inspiration.
Cohn & Wolfe has been building a culture of innovation for decades. We have 50 global “Creative Catalysts,” an Emergenetics training program that builds more creative and powerful teams around the globe. We even have our own Manifesto, and recently declared our “uncompromising commitment to creativity.” We deliver purpose-driven creative that motivates stakeholders to not simply engage…but to act...to change the world…to crave and buy and love.
But to deliver this kind of thinking for our clients, we have to live and breathe and believe it ourselves. An industry expert once said that Apple is Apple “because of the fervor with which its employees believe in the corporate mission.” Well, we may not be Apple, but that didn’t stop us from rallying around a new internal campaign and mantra: Dig Deeper. Imagine More. Hundreds of C&W employees -- from newly minted interns to seasoned office heads, and everyone in between -- recited the C&W Creative Pledge, promising to “dig deeper and imagine more” in everything they do.

Today we proudly launch our new global website. So what, you say? Here’s what: To build our site, 38 people spent a collective 4,800 hours crafting brilliantly charming, visually engaging and meaningful animation; developing (and endlessly editing) fresh, irreverent copy; and building the technology underpinnings to make it all sing. The bottom line: a website that hits our vision -- To be the boldest, most original communications agency in the world -- out of the park.
